Northern Ireland Environment Agency Supply & Delivery of an Automated Segmented Flow Colorimetric Analyser The Inorganic Chemistry Team is one of the three analytical teams within the Water Chemistry Group of the Water Management Unit of the Northern Ireland Environment Agency. It is tasked with the analysis of trace concentrations of nutrients, (primarily in relation to the EU Water Framework Directive and Nitrates Directive), in waters and effluents. Under WFD the team is also involved in Investigative Monitoring to determine pollution sources. The team requires a Continuous Segmented Flow Colorimetric autoanalyser to perform analysis to meet the requirements of the WFD and Nitrates Directive in surface water and effluents to low limits of quantification, micrograms/l in some cases.
