NIEA Second Survey of Historic Buildings Ad-hoc contract 2013-2016

Tender description

To survey a batch of historic buildings listed in Appendix A and other historic buildings as required during the period of the contract. NIEA cannot guarantee the number of additional surveys that will be required but it is estimated to be in the range 10 - 15 in each of the 3 year of the contract. The survey work will be required to follow the procedures set out in Contractor’s Instruction 10 - Ad-hoc Survey, which is published on the NIEA website. The records are to be provided to the Department in the required format. Note: The survey work will involve detailed recording of properties and the Consultant must be able and willing to survey the interior of empty and neglected buildings/structures. The size of properties to be recorded can differ significantly and the Consultant should be familiar with the range of properties in Appendix A and the location of the buildings before estimating workload. It is likely that the additional surveys will be of buildings of a similar size and complexity. Please see MOI Part B for detailed description.
