Tender description

The Historic Buildings Unit within the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA), an agency within the Department of the Environment (Northern Ireland), is charged with the protection and promotion of all buildings of ‘special architectural or historic interest’. NIEA is currently undertaking a Second Survey of the entire stock of historic buildings throughout Northern Ireland. The contract is for undertaking a historic buildings survey programme for a number of defined District Council areas over a 3 year period with the facility to extend the contract for 1 year.
