NICTS OS - Provision of Maintenance and Repair Services This project is proposed by the Official Solicitor to the Court of Judicature for Northern Ireland who in discharging her role as Financial Controller , trustee or guardian is responsible for protecting and maintaining Patients’ and minors’ properties both vacant and occupied. The need was identified following a review of the Official Solicitor’s Office. As part of this responsibility, it is incumbent on the Official Solicitor to ensure that properties of the clients for whom she acts are appropriately maintained. It is in connection with this that the Official Solicitor requires the property management / repair services. The service provider will be responsible for: •Visiting newly acquired vacant properties to make safe as per insurance requirements eg draining the water system and changing the locks. This should occur within three days of notification. •Carrying out minor works/repairs as directed by the Official Solicitor based on a surveyor's report. •Carrying out any minor works as directed by the Official Solicitor •Responding to emergency requests for repairs. •Appointing individuals with particular expertise if required to carry out repairs. •Facilitating repair work. •General garden maintenance. •Provision of maintenance including but not limited to : Electrics, Plumbing, Decoration, Gas, Oil Boilers, Locks, Glazing, Joinery, Gardening and ad hoc such as pest control.
