NICS - The Supply and Delivery of Monographs

Tender description

The Northern Ireland Central Government Departments, which will be referred to as the “Authority”, through the Department of Finance and Personnel, requires a contract for the supply and delivery of monographs and books in both print and electronic format to all beneficiaries of the contract including the Authority and the Northern Ireland Assembly. The supply of monographs will include a number of types of publications arranged in a series of parts. Contractors can bid for all or part of the contract. Lot 1 – Government Publications (publications published under the Authority of Parliament and Departmental bodies). Lot 2 – Government E-Publications (publications published under the Authority of Parliament and Departmental bodies in electronic format). Lot 3 – General Publications (publications generally available from a variety publishers with a wide subject coverage). Lot 4 – E-books (general publications as in Lot 3 above published in electronic format. Lot 5 – Legal Publications (monograph and serial publications dealing largely with a legal subject bias. Lot 6 – Used Publications (publications which may be out of print and but available as second-hand or used copies). Lot 7 – British and other standards in hard-copy (publications relating to standards established and approved by the British Standards Institute (BSI) or other official standards bodies.) Lot 8 – British and other standards in electronic format (publications as in Lot 7 above in electronic format). Lot 9 – Part G – grey literature (publications generally only available from their original publisher).
