Tender description

Translink is the public transport provider of bus and rail services in Northern Ireland and is the ‘brand name umbrella’ under which operates the 3 public transport companies – Ulsterbus, Metro and Northern Ireland Railways (NIR). Translink (NIR) requires a competent contractor to deliver: A gap analysis of current safety management systems, taking into account EU, UK and NI legislation and RM3 / RSSB / ORR / ERA guidance, to include: o Fleet Engineering standards and procedures o Rail Operations standards and procedures o Divisional occupational health and safety standards and procedures o Performance indicators o Development of a RACI Chart for Rail Services o Support in developing the purpose, scope and structure of safety management systems for Rail Services o The timeline for delivery is to be no longer than six (6) weeks.
