NHSCT - Roof Coverings Replacement at Fern House: Antrim Area Hospital

Tender description

The Project is for the provision of, in the main, new pitched concrete tile roof coverings to Fern House, a stand alone building situated on the Antrim Area Hospital site. There is a small area of flat roof coverings that will also have to be replaced. The Contract includes for the removal and disposal offsite of existing roof coverings and associated works. The Main Contractor will be from a construction background with Mechanical and Electrical subcontract services required in attendance around existing roof ventilation and extract units The building will be in full occupation during the course of the works and provides clinical services and support to the main Hospital and therefore, there cannot be any disruption to these services or patient / staff access. The contract period will be maximum 12 weeks and it is anticipated that the scheme will commence in January 2013 and completed by 31 March 2013.
