NHS North Kirklees CCG wish to procure a community based Specialist Dermatology Services within North Kirklees. NHS North Kirklees wish to encourage innovation and flexibility on behalf of the provider to deliver an appropriate delivery response to the local community. The Dermatology Community Specialist Services will aim to ensure: The right dermatological care in the right place at the right time by the right people, whilst ensuring value for money That overall 70% or more of activity is delivered in the community setting The objectives of the Dermatology Community Specialist service are to: Ensure equitable, timely and appropriate access to advice, diagnosis, treatment and follow up Ensure patients are seen and treated in a safe environment most appropriate to their care needs in line with national standards Provide a cohesive and seamless pathway based on patient need in conjunction with other providers Support, develop and value staff by utilizing the skills of the workforce to provide efficient services Facilitate the shift of services closer to home through development and innovation Ensure effective and sustainable use of resources Streamline referral and management processes Improving knowledge of North Kirklees health professionals and patients around the management of skin diseases through the development and implementation of education programmes for GP’s, GPwSI and other practitioners on the agreed clinical pathway The CCG is not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in or tendering for this contract opportunity.
