Tender description

Calderdale CCG and Calderdale Council wish to commission a Children & Adolescents Mental Health Service that provides the right care, at the right time in the right place for the people of Calderdale which is delivered by staff with the competencies and skills to meet the needs of children/young people. The CCG seeks service providers to bring our vision to life; we are not being prescriptive in terms of: - Service model/ provider approach - Delivery teams/roles - Numbers of specific staff - Location of services We require providers to be innovative and offer a solution that provides the right skills, in the right numbers. The ability to flex services to meet the needs of the children/young people of Calderdale in accordance to the framework described within this specification. Services for children and young people should place them and their parents/carers at the heart of everything they do. Our local need and vision for a Calderdale CAMHS are:  Adopt a whole system, person-centred approach.  Develop resilience in children/young people to prevent the need of escalation into core specialist services.  Strengthen partnership working.  Provide earlier intervention and prevention.  Improve service delivery and demand.  Ensure local and timely access to services through reducing waiting times by using a range of technology.  Ensuring value for money.
