Tender description

The Contracting Authority wishes to procure a development partner to deliver a Community Treatment and Care Centre in the Newry area. The appointed third party developer will design, build, finance and maintain new community treatment and care centre premises from which the GPs and/or the Contracting Authority will deliver general primary care and medical services. Further details of the Project are set out in Part 1 of this MoI. The estimated capital value of the construction element of the Project is in the region of £30 million GBP (excluding VAT). This, and an additional amount in respect of the Hard FM Services and lifecycle costs (with an equivalent annual value of approximately £900,000 GBP) shall be payable by the Contracting Authority through a monthly service charge over the 25 year contract. RPIx (the retail prices index excluding mortgage interest repayments) will be used as a mechanism to annually adjust the service payment. Details of the form of contract for the Project will be provided during the dialogue phase.
