Multi Council Tender Provision of Insurance Broking for the South Eastern Region

Local Government is entering a period of unprecedented change with the creation of 11 new super councils to be established in Northern Ireland on 1 April 2015 as part of Local Government Reform (LGR). As well as the mammoth task of harmonising existing functions during this transitional period, new Councils are required to prepare for the integration of a range of transferring functions; including elements of planning, off street parking, urban regeneration, community planning, economic development and local tourism There are 3 of the new cluster councils currently involved in this project which account for 7 of the current legacy councils. One supplier will be appointed for the provision of insurance services on a collaborative basis as detailed in the varied specification relating to the following Councils Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon District Council Newry, Mourne and Down District Council North Down and Ards District Council Tenders are invited from firms having relevant experience and authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or the provision of the participating Councils insurances from 1st April, 2015.
