Monitoring & Evalation of Conflict, Security & Stability Fund Framework Projects

Tender description

The Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs as represented by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, acting as part of the Crown, invites tenders from suitably qualified providers for the provision of security monitoring and evaluation services for the Conflict, Security and Stability Fund programme in East Africa. This ITT comes under the work of the FCO Conflict, Security and Stability Fund (CSSF) which works closely with other HMG departments, notably the Department for International Development and Ministry of Defence. The CSSF’s aim is to work for a more stable world, preventing and responding to violent conflict, protecting people and supporting inclusive political settlements. The FCO intends to award one contract and with the commencement date of approximately the end July 2015. The new contract term will be for an initial period of one year, with an option to extend for two separate periods with each period lasting (1) one year. The Contract will be on a single supplier framework model. Contract value will therefore vary depending on usage and number of projects monitored and evaluated by the successful tenderer during the contract lifetime. Due to the fact that this requirement will be providing monitoring and evaluation on both current and future projects it is vital that the Contractor puts in place "Ethical Walls" in regards to any current or future projects they are linked to.
