Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust's (the Trust) Mobility Centre is the sole provider of prosthetic services in the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire and currently provides a prosthetic service to 1,800 patients from the Nottinghamshire CCG, Lincolnshire CCGs and Derby (Upper limb only) CCGs from its centre at the City Campus site in Nottingham. The Trust is looking for providers with a strong track record and experience and invites expressions of interest for the following: The Trust seeks a single commercial provider to provide a “turnkey” solution for the delivery of prosthetic service for patients with available space to run its wheelchair service from. The requirement will be split into 3 separate Lots and the high-level, outline requirements of the solution are as follows: Lot 1 – Provision of Mobility Centre Premises and Services– excluding Clinical Staff and Administration Staff Lot 2: Provision of a Mobility Centre – including Administration Staff Lot 3 - Provision of a Mobility Centre – including Administration staff and Clinical Staff It is envisaged that TUPE may apply for this contract for options 1, 2 and 3. For that purpose it is essential that the contractor has a GAD Approved pension scheme if there is to be TUPE of Trust staff to the new contractor for Lots 2 and 3. The Trust reserves the right not to award to any of the 3 Lots.
