Tender description

The purpose of this procurement is to engage the services of a suitably experienced and competent contractor to undertake Multi Element Improvement Works at Mount Royal, Donaghadee. The works consist of:  Firestopping & compartmentation  Suspended ceiling grid replacement  Internal communal and apartment door replacement including glazed screens replacements  New fire detection system  Emergency and communal lighting upgrade  Electrical consumer unit upgrades  Warden call system upgrade  Communal plumbing upgrades & modifications  Rainwater goods/fascia/soffits replacements  Internal and External redecoration including floor covering  Window Replacement  New aluminium external doors (including automated main entrance door)  Communal kitchen enlargement & replacement  Communal bathrooms/WC replacements (3nr)  E7 heating system upgrade - communal  Water pressure rectification works  New mobility scooter storage (internal store room conversions - 2nr)  Cavity wall insulation extraction and re-fill  Roof void insulation replacement  TV aerial system upgrade Time is to be of the essence in delivering the Works and any failure by the Contractor to comply with the time limits for commencing or completing the works shall be deemed to be a substantial failure by the Contractor to comply with the contract giving the Employer a right to terminate the contract.
