Tender description

Medical revalidation is the process by which doctors holding registration with a licence to practice will have to demonstrate to the GMC that they are up-to-date, fit to practice and complying with the relevant professional standards. Licensed doctors will need to bring a portfolio of supporting information to their appraisal which shows how they are meeting the professional values set our in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice. Two types of supporting information that doctors will be required to collect are feedback from colleagues and feedback from patients. There will likely to be circa 7,000 medical practitioners who will be required to collect supporting information from colleagues and patients, at least once in each five-year revalidation cycle. This procurement is to facilitate a solution for the collation and management of appraisal information by medical practitioners.
