Tender description

Translink is the brand name for the public transport operating companies in Northern Ireland. These include the companies of Ulsterbus, Metro, Northern Ireland Railways Company Limited and NITHC. Translink wish to employ the services of a single contractor to provide Mechanical Services to their portfolio across Northern Ireland. Building use ranges from Stations to Bus & Railway engineering facilities, multi-storey car parks and offices. The successful Economic Operator will be expected to work night shifts, on weekends and during holidays as well as during the normal working week of Monday to Friday – as required Some of the work is within the railway environment which is safety critical and as such personnel working on this project will have to obtain a Personnel Track Safety certification. Translink reserve the right to increase or decrease the quantities of these assets as new facilities can be added throughout the duration of the contract. The Contractor will be expected to perform the following works at Translink sites, although this is not an exhaustive list: Deep Clean canopies Grease Traps Sprinklers Oil Boilers Gas Heating General Plumbing Building Management Systems Air Conditioning & Ventilation Remedial work resulting from inspections Respond and repair to breakdowns Supplement the in-house resources Translink is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers.
