Tender description
The performance of mobile broadband networks is becoming an increasingly important consumer issue Ofcom wishes to gather a comparable data set for mobile broadband as for fixed-line broadband in order to gain greater understanding of the performance of mobile broadband services delivered to UK consumers. This data should not only allow comparison between fixed-line and mobile broadband performance, but also focus on the particular requirements of mobile broadband services, where consumer research has found that failures in the continuity of connection are as big a driver of dissatisfaction as slower than expected speeds.
