Please note PQQ Submission return date of 1500 hours on Thursday 18 August 2011. Translink Infrastructure Division, Signalling & Telecom (S & T) Department is responsible for maintaining and providing S & T equipment to facilitate train operations on the Northern Ireland Railway (NIR) Network. The S & T Department’s planned maintenance and capital works programme requires a suitably qualified contractor(s) to supply a range of signalling and telecom cables. Installation and testing works are undertaken either “in house” or by suitably qualified external contractors. All signalling and telecom equipment used must be designed and tested in accordance with NIR standards and deemed suitable for external use and directly buried in a safety critical Railway Signalling System. The anticipated start date is Quarter 3 2011.
