Tender description

The Authority is looking for suppliers to test and evaluate the application of Earth Observation (EO) to monitoring the condition of habitats in England using grassland habitats within selected pilot areas. The project will extend work and test approaches proposed in previous work: using EO to produce indices of habitat condition and identify any trends. The project will also aim to recognize other possible refinements or other methods that would be applicable to grassland condition monitoring. This will be achieved by carrying out a thorough practical test of the findings from that project and develop them further.
