Main Contractor Remedial Work to Steel Framed External Access Ramp LeisureCentre Ballymena Borough Council invites suitably qualified, competent and experienced Contractors to undertake proposed remedial works to the steel framed external access ramp to the Seven Towers Leisure Centre in Ballymena. The works will comprise cleaning of all steelwork and concrete slab, repainting of steelwork and waterproofing of concrete slab. The anticipated budget for the works is less than £50k. Contractors wishing to apply for this tender must be registered with Constructionline in one of the following categories for works value of £40k or greater: Civil Engineering - General Civil Engineering - Painting (Civil Engineering) Building General - General Contractors must have a documented Health & Safety Management System which has been accredited by a third party. Contractors must have Public Liability Insurance and Employer's Liability Insurance to the value of £10M. The anticipated programme for these works is commencement in September 2013 with completion by November 2013.
