Tender description

Dear Bidders, you are invited to bid for the Mail Distribution and Fulfilment tender. This is a one stage tender for two Provisions, for which Bidders are invited to tender for either one or both and with the aim to appoint a single supplier for each Provision. • Provision 1 – Courier Services (itt_465) WMCA are looking for an appropriate supplier to provide a simple and efficient provision for same day and next day courier deliveries to service situations when standard mail procedures (such as 1st and 2nd class post) would be unsuitable to meet WMCA’s business requirements. • Provision 2 – Storage, Picking, Packing and Delivery (itt_466) The nature of the work entails the storage of a range of publicity documents and items for WMCA. Stock will be delivered directly from third party suppliers or WMCA for storage and distribution. The successful supplier would need to provide, maintain and further develop an online ordering and stock management system. Upon receipt of an online order, from either a WMCA customer, or WMCA, the supplier shall pick the relevant product in the quantities requested, from the stock stored, and deliver them to the customer address(es) detailed.
