Tender description

The Trust is seeking a supplier to provide a mobile treatment centre for the treatment of wet AMD. The mobile solution will have the capability to follow-up patients, perform OCTs and treat with injections in the community rather than in a secondary care hospital setting. The mobile treatment/review unit will be used in a number of locations across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire for patients to attend. The mobile solution will contain all fixtures, fittings and ophthalmic medical equipment required to deliver the service (a full specification of requirements will be given with the ITT). The Trust expects the unit to be operational 5 days a week. The unit will need to be mobile enough to be moved twice a week. Staff to undertake the movement of the unit is not required though suppliers may include this service within their bid. The mobile unit will be made available on a hire or lease basis. The Trust will not be looking to purchase the unit. The Trust is not looking for a service provider. Staffing of the unit will be by Trust own staff.
