Opening in summer 2015, ‘The Gobbins’ visitor attraction is an exciting new vistor attraction for Northern Ireland which will attract around 50, 000 plus visitors annually. The attraction will permit guided access to the stunning bridges and paths on the breathtaking Gobbins’ Cliffs in Islandmage, Co Antrim. In addition to the outdoor paths, the attraction will consist of a visitor centre with reception facilities, interpretation, café and retail outlet. The attraction will be pre-bookable with the intention for as many customers as possible to book on line in advance and so Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has already appointed contractors for an integrated internal sales system and separate website design. In preparation for opening, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council wishes to seek tenders from competent companies to assist a project team with the preparation, writing, implementation and delivery of a marketing and communictions plan for the attraction for its first year of operation.
