LPS - Mobile Editing Software

Tender description

Land & Property Services is seeking to replace the mobile editing software that is used by OSNI field Surveyors to update the large scale (1:1,250 & 1:2,500) digital vector mapping of Northern Ireland. This procurement aims to replace the mobile editing tools used by Surveyors to update the digital large scale mapping. The solution is expected to support Surveyors in on-site editing in completion of land surveys, using a range of survey instruments. It will also support the analysis of spatial vector data, automatic verification and identification of errors (based on editable business rules), manual or automatic correction of errors, and it will return change updates back to the Oracle Spatial database through a workflow management system. The solution must provide LPS Surveyors with an application which enables OSNI large scale vector mapping to be efficiently updated and maintained to the required accuracy and survey standards.
