Tender description

The BBC is looking to establish a Framework Agreement for Live Broadcast Vehicle Supply and Services. The BBC is looking for a roster of suppliers across its 3 x lots to include provision of supply and installation of satellite communications and broadcast production equipment within the Live Broadcasting Vehicles. Framework supplier’s responsibilities will vary from project to project and may include project planning, detailed design, coachwork, supply and installation of RF equipment, satellite links, baseband audio and video systems, performance and acceptance testing, support and supply of base vehicles. Lot 1 – Type 1 Vehicles (VSAT Enable Reporter Vehicles [VERV]); Lot 2 – Type 2 Vehicles (IP Based Content Acquisition Vehicles [iCAV]); Lot 3 – Type 3 Vehicles (Satellite Newsgathering Vehicles [SNG])
