Lislea Dr PSNI Station-Construction of new 3 Storey Steel Framed Structure (B1)

Tender description

The Contract will involve works at Lislea Drive PSNI Station, Lislea Drive, Lisburn Road, Belfast and include: Construction of new steel framed three storey purpose built extension (200m2) comprising standard cavity external walls with an inner leaf of 100mm blockwork, a 100mm thick insulated cavity void and an outer cavity leaf of 100mm thick rendered blockwork. Internal floors and roof will comprise reinforced precast concrete slabs. The building will form an extension to the existing three storey Building and will be accessible from the existing building at each floor level. Electrical works will include alterations to existing switch boards and general power circuits, new lighting, data, telephone, CCTV, intruder and access control systems. Mechanical works will include extension to the existing heating system and LPHW system, new air conditioning & ventilation units, building energy management controls, general plumbing and new sanitary equipment. Site works will comprise alterations to below ground drainage, resurfacing (bitumen & concrete) and trenching works for services ducts. The contract period will be approximately 20 weeks. Licences, Accreditations and Certifications required – Electrical Sub Contractor – to be NICEIC accredited or equivalent. Mechanical Sub Contractor – to be Gas Safe accredited or equivalent.
