Tender description

Translink is the brand name for the public transport operating companies in Northern Ireland. These include the companies of Ulsterbus, Metro, Northern Ireland Railways Company Limited and NITHC. Translink wish to employ the services of a single contractor to provide Lift & Escalator maintenance, to their entire Lift & Escalator portfolio which presently includes 42 units (39 Lifts & 3 Elevators) at 21 locations across Northern Ireland. Building use ranges from Stations to Bus & Railway engineering facilities, multi-storey car parks and offices. A total list of lift units and escalators, have been inserted as per Appendix 1 and are made up of Kone, Olympic, Otis and Thyssenkrupp. Translink reserve the right to increase or decrease the quantities of these assets as new facilities can be added throughout the duration of the contract. The Contractor will be required to provide a maintenance program for Elevators and lifts to Translink premises as set out in the contract documents.
