Legionella Testing (Lot 1), Water Quality Survey/ Audit 001/0499/13

Tender description

Translink wish to employ the services of a single contractor (s) to provide Legionella Testing, to their property portfolio which includes approximately 350 buildings at 130 locations. Building use ranges from Stations to Bus & Railway engineering facilities, multi-storey car parks and offices. A total list of properties has been inserted as per Appendix 1 The contract duration shall be for a period of 3 years commencing the 1st February 2014, with an option to extend the contract annually for an additional three (3) x 1 year periods. Scope Lot 1 The Legionella Testing program should include the following tasks, the frequency of visits to the premises as listed below, with all testing complying to the Approved Code of Practice and Guidance (L8). All visits are to be carried out in the scheduled month. The contract duration for the Lot 2 ( Water Quality Survey, Risk Assessment and Compliance Audit) will commence on the 1 June 2014, for a period of 26 months, expiring on the 31 January 2017 with an option to extend the contract for an additional period of three(3) x twelve (12) months. Drawings for all current buildings should be completed within the first year, subsequent schematics will be on an ad-hoc basis as dictated by Company demands and changes in premises. Translink is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and it is intended that all communications with Translink including the submission of PQQ and Tender responses will be conducted via www.e-sourcingni.bravosolution.co.uk. Unless stated otherwise in these Instructions or in writing from Translink, all communications including queries from Applicants and any PQQ amendments from Translink during the period of this procurement exercise shall be submitted through and published via the online messaging facility provided on the e-sourcing NI portal
