The Ombudsman’s Office wishes to appoint firms of solicitors to provide advice , drafting and representation(as required) in relation to the following areas with effect from 1 April 2012: a) Public and Administrative Law (specialising in Ombudsman issues) b) Employment Matters c) Property and Planning matters (including conveyancing and commercial leases) d) Contract law and Procurement Issues e) Freedom of Information Legislation (including Environmental Information Regulations) f) Data Protection Legislation g) European and International Law Firms of solicitors may apply for one or more of the above areas of law, but must clearly specify which area(s) of law they wish to be considered for.
