Tender description

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is inviting applications from suitably experienced contractors to fulfil day to day responsive repairs contracts to provide the majority of general building repairs inside and outside residents' homes. New responsive repairs contracts will provide for emergency 'out-of-hours' cover outside normal opening hours. The estimated yearly value of the new day-to-day repair contracts is approx. £6m per annum. In addition the Council is also inviting suitable applications from experienced contractors to undertake Void Repairs in recently vacated premises. The estimated yearly value of all Void works is approximately £3m per annum with approximately 1200 properties vacated each year. Contract areas are based on two newly formed Resident Forums 'East' and 'West'.
