HeadStart Creative and Sporting Activities Commission – Information session Expertise in engaging vulnerable young people in positive activities and/or expertise in providing creative or sports specialist instruction? We would love to hear from you! The Big Lottery funded HeadStart programme is committed to the delivery of evidence based approaches which promote emotional resilience in 10-16 year olds at risk of developing mental health difficulties. Subject to funding confirmation (early June 2016) we are seeking to commission borough wide provision of community based targeted specific creative and sports activities which are co-delivered by specialist instructors and youth practitioners. Four lots will be available for delivery initially over 18 months (Up to £180K/lot) with potential for extension over further 3.5 years. For each lot, we are looking for providers who can deliver creative, exciting, and engaging courses for vulnerable 10-16 year olds in at least two locations across the borough.
