Welfare Check, Family Support and Supervised Contact Services 1. Objectives of the Service 1.1 To provide a bespoke, targeted and flexible Service that: i. prevents placement disruption for those children already in care; ii. prevents children going into care; iii. prepares families, where children are in care, for reunification; iv. promotes positive emotions and experiences for Service Users; v. provides guidance and support around change and demonstrates innovative ways of learning; vi. focuses on whole family wellbeing and empowers families; vii. works within the child protection framework at all times. viii. is able to challenge families in a constructive and supportive manner; and
