Tender description

The contract comprises the following elements of work: The provision and laying of: • 300mm to 1200 mm diameter sewers (including lateral connections and manholes) and 280mm OD diameter rising main in traffic sensitive, heavily congested roads in Armagh city. • 1050mm diameter sewer to 1200mm diameter twin sewers in fields. Combined Sewer Overflows upgrades and closures. Sewer rehabilitation works will include desilting, cleaning, patch repairs, removal of roots and intrusions and installation of CIPP liners. The upgrade of Newry Road WwPS Works will include all temporary and permanent works for: • Reinforced concrete wet well including provision of screen • Reinforced concrete valve chamber • Provision of a reinforced concrete storm tank complete with screened overflow to river via headwall structure • Flow meter chamber • Insulated GRP control kiosk including Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Specification and system integration requirements . • Pillar jib crane • Demolition and decommissioning of the existing WwPS and all ancillaries of the existing installation • M&E installation and commissioning of new WwPS, including training and input to O&M Manuals Upgrade of various Unsatisfactory Intermittent Discharges ( UIDs) at WwPSs including ancilliary works and screens.
