Tender description
Northern Ireland Water Ltd (NIW) invites expressions of interest from experienced and competent (Design and Build) contractors for the construction of Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) filters to ensure the treated water complies with the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 in relation to the “other pesticides” limit of 0.1 µg/l (in this case MCPA). The GAC plant will be located in a new building to be constructed on a vacant area of the site, separate from the main treatment buildings.
