Tender description
The aim of the project is threefold: •To investigate feasibility of air quality monitoring technologies currently under development, or new technologies that have yet to be applied in the field of air quality monitoring, that maybe candidates for future use in the UK’s national and local monitoring networks. What technologies have the potential to improve efficiency of air quality by reducing costs whilst retaining data quality objectives (such as required for national compliance monitoring as defined in the EU Directives AQD/DD4) or indeed improved data (e.g. speciation or spatial/temporal time resolution) over the medium/long term? •To identify the potential barriers to the development of such technologies •To identify action actions government could take to reduce the identified barriers.
