Tender description

The purpose of this tender is to appoint a service provider to deliver industrial symbiosis activities to Northern Ireland businesses, as part of Invest NI’s Maximising Efficiencies portfolio of support over the period 1 July 2011 to 31 March 2014. These activities will be part financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the EU Sustainable Competitiveness Programme 2007-2013. This activity will form an important part of Invest NI’s Maximising Efficiencies Solutions Framework. The main objective of the service is to increase the productivity and competitiveness of participating businesses through the identification and realisation of synergies resulting in more efficient resource use. Symbiotic synergies can include opportunities for the commercial exchange of water, energy, waste, materials, expertise and logistics.
