Tender description

The London Borough of Hillingdon has made a decision to address all statutory independent advocacy requirements through a single contract to procure a service to be known as the “Hillingdon Integrated Advocacy Service” which will provide a single gateway for the appointment of independent advocates under the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the Mental Health Act 2007, through a single point of contact. Hillingdon intends to tender a contract for three (3) years, (with an option to extend for further 3 year) the delivery of integrated advocacy service which will include the following statutory advocacy services: • Care Act Advocacy (CAA) • Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) • Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) and • Non- statutory General Advocacy (GA) Please see Specification for more information
