Installation, Dismantling and Maintenance of Christmas Lighting

Tender description

This tender is specifically for the Installation, dismantling, inspection and maintenance of Christmas lighting throughout the Carrickfergus Borough and comprises the following work 1. Testing and repair of fittings prior to installation. 2. Stress testing of all anchor fittings for cross street lighting decorations. 3. Liaison with and confirmation of approvals from DOE Roads Service Street Lighting on installation and connections of fittings to column street lights and to ensure such installations are compliant with the Code of Practice for installation of Festive Lighting. 4. Check and ensure all wiring and connections, RCBO’s, glands and other such items related to the task are weather proof and protected to ensure as far as reasonably practical protection of the light/lamp elements from ingress of rain and water. 5. To provide a qualified electrician/s on site before and during each switch-on as instructed. 6. To set and check timers for lighting as required.
