Tender description

Northern Ireland Railways Infrastructure Division wish to establish a List of suitably qualified Economic Operators to provide Railway Infrastructure related technical training in the following fields – Permanent Way Signalling & Telecoms Health & Safety Northern Ireland Railways Rulebook The following elements, although not a comprehensive list is an indication of the range of training and assessment required by Northern Ireland Railways over the next 2/3 years. Basic Control Tables, Concept 32, TCP/IP Ethernet Networks, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, CSR, Stressing Level 1-3, 053, RRV Operations, PTS, TSC, Lookout etc. The duration of this List will be two years plus one further annual extension option or a maximum expenditure of £300k. Those Economic Operators who are invited to participate on this list maybe invited to quote for providing one or more of the aforementioned services. Therefore Economic Operators must clearly indicate which area or areas they wish to be considered for. Translink is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and it is intended that all communications with Translink including the submission of PQQ and Tender responses will be conducted via www.e-sourcingni.bravosolution.co.uk. Unless stated otherwise in these Instructions or in writing from Translink, all communications including queries from Applicants and any PQQ amendments from Translink during the period of this procurement exercise shall be submitted through and published via the online messaging facility provided on the e-sourcing NI portal (see “Messages” section). The onus lies on the applicant to read and keep up to date with all the information published on eSourcing NI in relation to this requirement.
