Industry Day for Rutland County Council Highways Term Maintenance Contract 2024-2034 (2044)

Please note, this is not a call for competition. This is a market engagement event. Rutland County Council invite interested parties to attend the Industry Day on Thursday 15th December 2022 in respect of the Council's Highways Term Maintenance Contract procurement. Attendees are requested to arrive by 9.30am for a 10am start and the event will run until 1pm approx. in the Council Chamber. The venue for this event is: Rutland County Council Catmose Oakham Rutland LE15 6HP This event is to provide a briefing on this up-coming contract opportunity, the procurement of which is due to be launched in the days following this event. Interested parties wishing to attend must email highways@rutland.gov.uk by no later than noon Thursday 8th Dec. Spaces will be allocated first come, first served and limited to a maximum of two people per organisation. Please note: Attendance at this event does not confer any advantage or disadvantage on an organisation that chooses to participate in the subsequent procurement. All information disclosed by participants to the Council on the day will be treated in confidence. Lot 1: The Council requires highways maintenance and related services throughout the County of Rutland. The anticipated maximum term of the contract including extensions is 20 yrs. (10+5+5) and the estimated maximum contract value is £3.5m p/a approx. x 10+5+5 = £70m approx. Contract extension subject to performance. The contract is due to commence 1st June 2024 (i.e., in approximately eighteen months' time). The procurement is due to commence w/c Mon 19th December 2023 (i.e., shortly after the 'Industry Day' for this procurement).
