Tender description
The NHS is required under Health Service Guidance (HSG (94) 27 Guidance on the discharge of mentally disordered people and their continuing care in the community and the updated paragraphs 33-36 issued in June 2005) to commission an investigation when a person commits a homicide who has been in receipt of mental health services in the 6 months prior to the event and is being managed under the Care Programme Approach, and or when it is necessary to comply with the State’s obligations under Article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The procurement is for a framework agreement for NHS England with multiple suppliers. Call-off will be by mini-competition.
