Tender description

Under FAPP 2013 Scheme, NIA must engage the services of an independent auditor to certify financial assistance received by parties under the scheme. NIA require a registered auditor to provide this service The Financial Assistance For Political Parties Scheme 2013 (the FAPP Scheme) is a statutory scheme which provides for payments to a political Party based on the number of connected members that the Party holds within the Assembly. The FAPP Scheme provides financial assistance to a Party for the “purpose of assisting members of the Assembly who are connected with that Party to perform their Assembly duties”. All financial assistance provided to Parties must be used solely for this authorised purpose or for the provision of approved administrative support to a Party’s Whips’ office.
