Improvements to Ely Lodge Footpath in the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark.

Tender description

Those wishing to be considered for inclusion on a Select List to be invited to tender must be Constructionline registered and be capable of delivering all aspects of the works including that of undertaking the role of Principal Contractor in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2007. NEC3 Short Contract will be used. This Contract involves the construction of approximately 660 metres of a 1.5 metre wide “access for all” bitumen macadam surfaced footpath. The Contract work is on an existing footpath in a woodland area and hence there will be some restrictions on the size of mechanical machinery which can be used in order that the environment is protected. The estimated value of the contract is approximately £35,000.00 sterling and the contract is anticipated to last approximately 2 months. Further details are included in the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire Package (PQQP) which can be downloaded from the Council’s website at www.fermanagh.gov.uk/tenders from Wednesday 14th May 2014. Completed PQQP’s should be returned to The Acting Chief Executive, Townhall, 2 Townhall Street, Enniskillen BT74 7BA in a plain, sealed envelope marked “Select List Application (PQQP) –Ely Lodge footpath” to be received before 2.00pm on Wednesday 11th June 2014.
