Tender description

NHS Dudley are the contracting authority and are also the provider of the service to Dudley & Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. Grounds & Garden Maintenance will be required at various sites across Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen and Walsall, West Midlands, England. To provide and maintain a safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing site including the removal of all cutting waste and other materials produced through the implementation of the contract, provisions for inclement weather (gritting) are also required. The areas to be maintained shall comprise of all soft and hard landscaped areas including lawns, banking, garden beds, borders, car parks and adjacent service roads. The following will be required: grass cutting/trimming, border maintenance, path clearing/spraying, hedge trimming, pruning, clearing leaves/litter and gritting. Provide and maintain equipment to enable the conditions of contract to be fulfilled. The contract terms will be for 3 years with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months in increments to be decided by NHS Dudley at various properties situated in Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen and Walsall. It is expected that invoicing for the service will be in equal monthly amounts. During the course of the contract individual building specifications/requirements may be subject to change. Buildings may close, and new buildings may be added during the period covered by this contract. Contractors must be prepared to sign a variation agreement with regard to this. CRB checks for all staff are a requirement, at the cost of the contractor. Grounds Maintenance staff are required to wear uniforms and ID badges. TUPE may apply.
