Glass and Windscreen Framework

Tender description

Dublin Bus intends establishing a multi-provider framework panel to supply Glass and Windscreen parts, to depots of Dublin Bus. The parts are required for Dublin Bus’s current fleet, which is approximately 1000 buses, and for buses that are added to Dublin Bus’s current fleet during the term of the framework. Dublin Bus intends to use a framework for three years with the possibility of extending that term by two periods of twelve months. As requirements for parts arise Dublin Bus intends inviting the framework participants to tender for those requirements. Lot sizes will be dependent on baskets of goods awarded to bidder(s) across the different lines- it is not possible to define these in advance due to the nature of the products. Dublin Bus reserves the right to limit the number of lots according to the number of successful bids received, and may not award multiple lots in the circumstance where one vendor is determined to have been successful across all lines Lot 1: Glass and Windscreen Framework vendor 1 glass parts required for maintenance of bus fleet Lot 2: Glass and Windscreen Framework vendor 2 Glass parts required for maintenance of bus fleet
