Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) & Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) Services

Tender description

The Public Health Department of Hammersmith and Fulham, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the City of Westminster as part of the London Sexual Health Transformation Programme are seeking to commission a Provider to deliver Genito-Urinary Medicine and Sexual and Reproductive Health Services. The aim of the service is to transform and reshape the delivery of Genito-Urinary Medicine and Sexual and Reproductive Health Services to embed a whole systems approach that is underpinned by reducing the acquisition and onward transmission of sexually transmitted infections and reduction in unplanned pregnancies. The Provider must ensure it delivers a flexible system that responds to changing needs and provides outcomes that are evidenced based. The service model will be accessible to those who are at risk of poor sexual health including BME groups, men who have sex with men, young people, women at the start and end of their reproductive lives, people selling sex and other emerging high risk populations by this will be achieved by: — The delivery of high-quality, confidential and tailored sexual health interventions; — The reduction of inequalities and improvement of sexual and reproductive health outcomes; — The building of an open and honest culture where everyone is able to make informed and responsible choices about relationships and sex; — Providing a range of evidenced based interventions and access to appropriate services; — Contribute to the strategic planning and commissioning of sexual and reproductive health services in the 3 borough area. The contract will be for 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The Services will also be delivered to the 32 named authorities below under a call-off contract by Westminster City Council, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
