Prior Information Notice ref - 2018-041428 This ITT has been setup to help support the Pre-market Consultation Exercise for the provision of a Healthcare Support Partner as described in the issues Prior Information Note (PIN) published in OJEU. THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION AND IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT ENGAGEMENT WITH POTENTIAL PARTNERS TO HELP SHAPE AND DEVELOP THE REQUIREMENT AND PROPOSED APPROACH. Information provided within this ITT is available to all potential partners, however, we strongly advise all potential partners read the requirements very carefully to ensure best use resources in consideration of the requirement published under PIN. When the 100,000 Genomes Project (100KGP) started the state of maturity of the genomics industry was such that Genomics England was required to test and integrate numerous components in order to build a whole genome sequencing (WGS) diagnostic pipeline that would work reliably at a scale of more than 1000 genomes per week. Having achieved this, the same pipeline is being developed as the core platform for the Genomic Medicine Service (GMS) With the 100KGP nearing a successful conclusion, work is underway to implement a Genomic Medicine Service (GMS) commissioned by NHS England in England. Supporting this will be the National Genomics Informatic Service (NGIS), due to go live in October 2018. The implementation will be a global first. No other nation has a country-wide commissioned GMS in patient care settings. Genomics England is looking for a partner or partners to work with on the development of a throughly tested pipeline to take advantage of the global opportunities. During the Pre-market Consultation period we will be holding a Pre-market Consultation Event for interested parties. This will take place on Monday 7th August 2018 in London, England. Further information will be provided through the messaging system within this ITT therefore all suppliers registered will receive all communication
