Re-issue of Garden Of Reflection - Story Booth Podcast / Voiceover Space Garden Of Reflection - Story Booth Podcast / Voiceover Space System Narrative A purpose built podcast / voiceover space shall be designed and fitted as part of this project. This space shall be used to record interviews, audio voiceovers and occasionally be used as a broadcast platform to local radio stations by means of ISDN connectivity (provided by others). AV Contractor’s Responsibility 1. The AV subcontractor shall work alongside the design team to produce a final technical specification. 2. The construction of the walls, ceiling, flooring and finishes shall be provided by the main contractor. The specification of same shall be agreed by the AV subcontractor and project architect. System Overview The system shall comprise: • 8 Channel Microphone Preamplifier • Audio Interface to Apple PC (Mac Pro) • Audio Distribution to further Solid State Hard Drive Recorder • Dual Telephone Balancing Unit to receive and record telephone conversations • At least 5 No. Cardioid Condensor-Type microphones • Professional grade studio near field monitoring and headphones • Direct Drive Analogue/Digital Turntable • Bespoke studio grade furniture, chairs and racking • Custom fitted balanced patch bays and programme output panels To include Studio Furniture as per details specified within tender documents. Further Information Interested suppliers should request tender documents from paul@durnien.com and supply all technical information on the systems proposed. Is expected that the make and model of the equipment specified in each bid return shall be of a professional grade and in keeping with environments of this nature. The contractor is required to also maintain the system for a period of three years. As such, a line item is required for each year.
