Tender description

The Environment Agency depends on telemetry systems to provide real-time rainfall, river and coastal data essential to our flood warning, detection, forecasting and incident management. The Environment Agency is currently undertaking a project to rebuild the core Infrastructure of the National Telemetry Systems to provide more advanced and resilient communication options for the Telemetry Team and the outstations (approx. 5500 Outstations), this is to include the replacement of the GSM SIMs, 'non-steered' roaming M2M (Machine 2 Machine) SIMs, private APN, supporting infrastructure, secure SIM management console, and ITIL3 service & management.
