ESBU -PSNI - Resurfacing of Lurgan PSNI Car Park (B1)

Tender description

The Contract will involve works at Lurgan PSNI Station, 62 Church Place, Lurgan, Co. Armagh, BT66 6HD and include: Demolition/Civil Engineering Works involves the demolition & removal of the existing MT Office & Store buildings and the provision of a new asphalt wearing course to the external areas. The buildings to be demolished include: 2 number of portacabins, a steel frame constructed canopy with a corregated sheet roof and a masonry constructed building with a felt covered roof. Current services connected to the above buildings include mechanical, electrical and water. The provision of a new asphalt wearing course to the external areas will involve scarifying the existing surface by removing this to a depth of approximately 40mm with a new wearing course of asphalt provided to all areas and marking out. External Lighting the existing redundant wiring and equipment and wiring in those buildings to be demolished shall be isolated, disconnected and removed. All new wiring shall be installed, tested and commissioned in strict accordance with BS 7671 and all new 230v wiring shall be xlpe/lsf/swa/lsf armoured cabling or hightuf cabling. New general amenity lighting shall consist of surface mounted metal halide floodlights, which shall be fixed to the external façade of the main building and to the internal face of the existing perimeter fencing.
